Now we'll look at which countries boast the most internet users and what their growth potential may be. To begin, it's important to know that there are 1.8 billion users in the world, yet only 32 countries with only more than 10 million Internet users, the top 10 countries on the Internet make up 65% of all Internet users.
China is the primary Internet user both in terms of real and virtual population, and it has almost twice as many Internet users as the USA, which is the second largest country for Internet users. Following up are Japan and then India and Brazil. Interestingly, Nigeria is tenth on the list, right after the UK and France, so Africa does have a presence. Another aspect to study is the Internet users versus the population size. China for example has 420.0 M Internet users and 1330.1 M popular, making for a large discrepancy. The USA on the other hand has a much smaller gap with 234.4 M Internet users versus 307.2 M population.
