Clothing lines designed by celebrities are becoming more and more popular these days; they are perhaps even more prevalent than celebrity endorsed fragrances! It is increasingly common for chart topping, internationally recognized artists like Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez and Madonna to have their own women’s apparel lines, but crossing over into clothing design is not just for singers. There are countless actors, reality stars, and models who have tested their luck in the womens’ apparel department as well. Mary Kate
and Ashley Olson, for example, have been designing women and girls’ apparel for years, and their overwhelming presence in design spans from expensive luxury boutiques all the way to the local Walmart. Kate Moss has been quite successful in her apparel endeavors, as have the Kardashian sisters in their line of womens’ apparel and their clothing store housing all sorts of designer pieces. It just goes to show that name brand clothing designs don’t necessarily have to be names of clothing designers; having a household name and a relatable, enviable sense of style is more than enough.
