Becoming and Older Parent

Today, with all the technology and advances regarding infertility, we are socially very aware and sensitive to a parent's age. Whatever ones choices regarding not having children previously, a pregnancy later in life is nothing to feel bad about and there are certain perks to being an older parent as well. Is there now a point however when a person is “too old” to become a parent? There is no correct answer to this question and it's certainly a complicated one. Though y
you may feel strong and active at the moment its important to consider how you will feel in the next ten to fifteen years are your child grows. Another question that comes up at that point is if you want to have more than one child, it may be necessary to call in additional help. Though becoming a parent at an older age is serious and complex decision that may be valid, it's better to not wait too long – this is both for physical health reasons for the expecting mother and for the parent's energy levels, as well as the fact that the younger they are when having the child the more of their lifetime they'll enjoy sharing with their children.
